Report on the Rapid Social Impact Assessment of the COVID-19 outbreak in Montenegro, April 2020 - Summary
29 June 2020
The report aims to provide the evidence for decision-makers to tailor ongoing and future policy and programmatic interventions to alleviate the negative consequences of the epidemic on the people of Montenegro, with a particular focus on protecting the fundamental rights of those most vulnerable. In addition to enabling deeper insight into the social impact of the crisis on vulnerable groups, the assessment has sought to identify potential new groups of people who have become highly vulnerable due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The RSIA is underpinned by national and international standards and commitments to human rights, refugee protection and the “leave no-one behind” concept in line with Agenda 2030, in the response to COVID-19 in Montenegro.
