SDG Policy Brief 3: Poverty and Child Poverty in Montenegro

Montenegro has witnessed numerous economic shocks that have hindered economic and social development. Having reached the mid-point of journey towards SDGs realization, it is time to remind ourselves of our pledge to build a world in which extreme poverty would be eradicated and where adequate and effective national social protection systems for all would be in place.

This paper in Montenegro is one of the United Nations contributions toward consolidating and analysing evidence on poverty and identifying areas where additional efforts need to be made toward achieving the SDGs in Montenegro.
