Summary of the fourth Universal Periodic Review of Human Rights in Montenegro

Montenegro’s human rights situation was reviewed by the Human Rights Council, under the Universal Periodic Review, on 8 May 2023. More than eighty UN Member States made over 240 recommendations, of which Montenegro accepted the large majority. This two-pager is a summary of the main areas in which recommendations were made, about which key groups and which main institutions.
